See it: Rockfall at Zion National Park, Utah closes popular part of park
A rockfall temporarily closed a road through a popular area of Utah's Zion National Park on Monday as the country marks the start of National Park Week.
Video obtained by FOX Weather shows a biker standing on the road as the rocks fell, bringing dust and debris crashing down.
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) Zion Area posted Monday afternoon, alerting visitors that the Zion Canyon shuttle line would be stopping at The Grotto, which is stop number six on the line due to a large rockfall on Scenic Drive.
On Tuesday morning, UDOT Zion Area posted saying the rockfall was cleared and the road reopened.
