Sociology questions: post #6995 — TG.ME

Hello everyone,

I’m happy to share my documentary “Lives Between Borders: The Koti(y)a Dispute | A Documentary on the Koti(y)a Border Villages” by BMNTeja.

This documentary is based on fieldwork conducted in the disputed border villages between Andhra Pradesh and Odisha, exploring governance, identity, welfare, education, healthcare, and the everyday realities of tribal communities living between two administrative systems.

This project taught me that Sociology is not limited to classrooms — it can also become a powerful medium of storytelling. The journey involved learning filmmaking, editing, sound design, and visual storytelling from scratch, along with continuous fieldwork and many sleepless nights.

I studied boundary disputes — now I hope this story crosses every boundary through your support.

Please do watch, share, and support.
Thank you!
