A child came with severe dehydration and started on IV fluid. After 8 hours started to sieze • Serum sodium came and found to be 162 Most likely cause for his seizures
A-Cerberal edema ✅
B-Central pontine neurolysis
C-Renal failure
D-Metabolic acidosis
I believe this is Hypernatremic dehydration + development of seizure in such rapid time ( 8 hours) supports cerebral edema.
