If you’re a student who’s curious about how technology can respond to real-world security challenges, the Singapore Defense Tech Hackathon (SDTH) 2026 is a chance to explore just that. Happening from 25 to 27 September 2026, SDTH 2026 brings together students, engineers, founders, operators and innovators for a hands-on weekend of collaboration, experimentation and problem-solving. Co-organised with NUS Enterprise, TUM Venture Labs and the European Defense Tech Hub, the hackathon will convene more than 280 participants in Singapore around the mission of “Readying the Little Red Dome”. Participants can choose from the following tracks: Track A: Can we build interceptors fast, cheap, and smart enough to match modern drone warfare, without skilled pilots or expensive supply chains? Track B: Can we design a sensing architecture that holds its picture when hundreds of threats arrive simultaneously? Track C: Can we keep meaningful human judgment in the loop when autonomous warfare has already outrun human reaction time? Track D: Based on your work and interests, you may also work on deep-tech in the domain of your choice, as long as it is relevant to defence. Participants will also explore focus areas including autonomous command and control, counter-UAS and drone swarms, missile defence systems, resilient communications, maritime security, space-based defence infrastructure and architectures. https://luma.com/sdth-2026
