A massive archive of old
Steam files dating roughly from 2003 to 2013 has appeared online — and it’s already being called the Steam Teraleak Some of the discoveries so far include:
— a 2009 Portal 2 beta;
— assets linked to the canceled Half-Life 2: Episode 3;
— early builds of CS:GO and Left 4 Dead;
— prototypes and development files from hundreds of third-party games.
And it goes far beyond
Valve: files connected to Mafia 2, GTA 3, Civilization V, Spec Ops: The Line and many more have already been found.With around 12 TB of data to dig through, we’ll probably keep seeing new discoveries for a while
