Noo that's not right i think this idea is the outcome of defining religion as some institution or community but religion is ''content of ur faith (ur belief ) ''
If religion is just mere coping mechanism it is designed to make life easier aydel then it's not logical to include heavy burdens it demands most of the religion in the world requires sacrificing aydel like restricting ur freedom, fasting abiding ur self from many things even it demands martyrdom for ur faith '' it's just mere coping mechanism'' wouldn't logically align with this things
