Every person has a unique cognitive structure. And success is built through it, not despite it. A biography of someone with your MBTI type is a mirror. You see how their natural traits worked for them - and start to understand how yours can work for you. A biography of a different type has the opposite effect. You read Branson and think you need to become an extrovert. You read Jobs and try to copy his management style. In the end, you spend years trying to become someone else and it still doesn't work. Because thinking can't be copied. You either have it or you don’t.
INTJ-like figures: Musk, Newton, Darwin. They all share the same cognitive structure: systems thinking, zero tolerance for pointless rules, and the ability to hold complex models in their heads. But ask them to work like an ISTJ, where you need to follow clear protocols and processes - they'll go crazy with boredom.
ESTPs live in the present. Can they build a 20-year system like Musk's plan with SpaceX to colonize Mars? No. This type is strong where quick action is required: negotiations, crises, and moments when every second counts.
ISTJs are strong in systems, processes, and discipline. Bezos had his famous "6-page memos" before every meeting. Can he make a decision in 30 seconds, without analysis or data, the way an ESTP would? He's not built for that type of thinking.
Every type is unbeatable on their own territory and helpless on someone else's. Find your people, those who share your type of thinking - and read only them. Look at the others with interest, write down their quotes - but don't try to be like them.
