- Must show outstanding academic achievement, commitment to service, demonstrated leadership ability, and outstanding moral character
- Open to students from any college or major
- Must be enrolled full-time as an undergraduate
- Must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA (probation and revocation rules apply if it falls below)
- Must maintain good academic and disciplinary standing
- Scholarship consideration given for a maximum of 8 semesters (10 for the 5-year Architecture program)
- No separate application needed; all Notre Dame applicants are automatically considered
