There’s been a rise in scams these days.
Last time scams used to be obvious.
Nowadays they get more and more real.
The common ones these days :
Impersonate famous figures, get you to join group, ask you to buy their pump and dump stock.
Or install scam software that hack your phone.
More tech savvy or well educated investors could avoid the above scams.
Now, upgraded, they impersonate your app and send email to you with urgent requests to ask you to login.
It might look very real, might even come from similar email address!
And it might even have info about your account.
So you don’t immediately feel like it’s fake.
But it could still be a scam email.
When you click on the link, it goes to a fake login page where you input your login details.
That’s where hackers get your login details to hack your account.
This is called phishing.
Be careful!
When unsure, always go back to your own app to check, not click from email. Do not install unknown app especially those not on official AppStore or playstore. Do not open use unlicensed platform.
