On national television, Offit said the Lancaster newborn "died from measles."

His reason: the spleen "can enlarge and become rupturable because of measles."

The pathologist who examined that spleen: "no swelling or enlargement whatsoever." Traumatic rupture. Measles was not the cause.

He used the autopsy. He left out what it found. He never said the word "coroner." Neither did PBS.
