Thing is, Ukraine is never joining the EU. Yes, they've ruined their country and sacrificed hundreds of thousands dead on the altar of being governed by Brussels, but it's never happening. Not that it would save them either.
The area that we call Ukraine has truly been done dirty. It's a sacrificial lamb, an expendable pawn, and a deathmatch zone all at the same time. It's ghastly, if you think about it.
