🇩🇪⚡️- With 95% of counted votes, the AfD will be missing 3 seats to have the majority in the Sachsen-Anhalt Landtag. However, in a surprise over-performance, the anti-immigration left-wing BSW party has reached the 5% threshold to enter the regional parliament.
While the BSW party has refused earlier this year to enter direct coalitions with the AfD, they have reached numerous deals to include Alice Weidel's party when judged necessary.
If BSW's score is maintained above 5%, the party will abstain itself from voting during the election of the President-Minister of Sachsen-Anhalt, likely allowing Ulrich Siegmund, the AfD candidate, to win the vote to lead the Bundesländer's executive branch.
