🇲🇱🇷🇺 - In a separate and humiliating setback, the situation following the initial ambush on the Savare–Gao convoy deteriorated to such an extent that the Malian military, FAMa, and Russia's African Corps sent a small relief mission from the besieged city of Anefis to Gao.
The relief mission convoy was also ambushed, this time at Tabrichaat (shown on the map).
