An evening dedicated to the culture, heritage, and identities of the Indigenous Peoples of the Black Sea Region.
Organized by KERMEN – Crimean Cultural Center in Germany
With the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in Germany Ukrainische Botschaft
The event will create a space for dialogue between representatives of politics, academia, and civil society, focusing on cultural preservation, identity, current challenges, and the future of Indigenous communities.
Programme
The evening will feature live Crimean music performed by a quartet of traditional folk instruments, an exhibition of Crimean landscapes by artist Diana, a traditional Crimean Coffee Ceremony recognized as an element of Ukraine’s Intangible Cultural Heritage, and two panel discussions in English and German.
