Tomorrow, there will be elections in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt. The AfD has a really good chance of winning a majority and making a difference.
If they don't get a majority, the only other option would be a four-party coalition, which would probably fall apart shortly afterwards, since three of the parties are left-wing and Antifa-supporters. One of them is essentially the successor to the GDR's former ruling party, the SED - the party that supported the socialist state and whose regime shot at people trying to leave the country.
