By internal mobility, we mean moving within a company to a different position in a different country.
Of course, not every multinational company is a good fit for this path. Having offices around the world doesn’t necessarily mean employees actually move between them. But there are definitely companies where this happens: EPAM Systems, JetBrains, Amazon, Catawiki... just to name a few.
In our latest piece for The Global Move, we explain how to figure out whether a company is a good “candidate” for an international transfer - before you join.
We also cover the L-1 route to the U.S. and the EU’s Intra-Corporate Transfers framework.
So, if relocating abroad is part of your longer-term career plan, do have a read. It might make you look at your relocation strategy a little differently.
