We published a full staking thread covering how delegated staking works on the Rayls Public Chain
A few key points:
โข Delegated $RLS remains in the staking contract
โข It is not transferred to the validatorโs wallet
โข Rewards are paid in $RLS
โข Rewards start from the next reward epoch after staking
Current staking tiers:
โข 55% promotional APY - for eligible pre-commitment and seeding wallets, capped at the original eligible allocation
โข 18% general APY - open to all $RLS holders
If your wallet has already reached its promotional allocation, any additional $RLS needs to be delegated through the general tier from a separate wallet
