In short: The authorization exists and grants management the legal and corporate flexibility to sell Bitcoin for specific capital-management purposes. It is not a binding plan or requirement to sell any particular amount (including $5 billion). Actual sales remain discretionary and subject to management’s ongoing assessment of what best serves long-term shareholder value.
