Bangladesh has confirmed that its proposal to procure Chinese J-10CE fighter aircraft has been forwarded for final approval.

The potential defence package could also include Chinese attack and transport helicopters, along with unmanned aerial systems.

Bangladeshi officials have pointed to the J-10CE’s performance during the 2025 India–Pakistan conflict as one of the factors influencing Dhaka’s interest in the aircraft.
