An Urgent Humanitarian Appeal… Help Me Continue the Life I Have Left
To the people of kindness and compassionate hearts, and to everyone who is able to extend a helping hand to someone who has lost everything and is still trying to start again…
My name is Ahmed Saeed Hussein Ahmed, a 21-year-old Palestinian young man from Jabalia Camp in northern Gaza, currently displaced in the Al-Fakhoura area.
During the war, I lost my father, mother, siblings, and all members of my family. Our home was also completely destroyed, leaving me as the only survivor of my family. Since that day, my life has changed completely. I have been forced to face a harsh reality alone, without a family, a home, or a stable source of income.
After losing my family, my uncle stood by me and helped me get married so that I would not remain alone. I got married, but due to my difficult financial circumstances, I have been unable to pay my wife's dowry to this day.
Despite everything that has happened, I continue to hold on to my only dream: completing my university education and building a future in which I can become self-reliant. However, university tuition fees have become beyond my ability to afford. In addition, my field of study is design, which requires a laptop that I can use to continue my studies and complete my projects and assignments.
Therefore, I am asking compassionate people to help me continue my education, provide me with a suitable laptop for my field of study, contribute toward paying my wife's dowry, and help me meet my basic needs.
I am not seeking a luxurious life, nor am I asking for more than an opportunity that will allow me to stand on my feet again.
I have lost my family and my home, but I have not lost hope.
Please help me hold on to what remains of my dream.
Any assistance, no matter how small, could help me continue my education and build a better future instead of losing years of my studies because of poverty and these extremely difficult circumstances.
I ask Allah to reward you abundantly, and to make every hand extended to help me a source of goodness and blessing. May He compensate you with what is better for everything you give.
