Ten years after ROCm 1.0, AMD's open CUDA alternative goes full agentic. The headliner is ROCm.AI, now GA, which bundles a unified CLI, AI coding tools, and Hyperloom, an automation system that tunes inference workflows faster than doing it by hand.
Also landing: a cleaner "TheRock" build pipeline and unified Windows/Linux SDKs. Past fragmentation was a real complaint.
