Bloomberg: the relationship between lenders and non-citizens has grown more distant than ever — migrants are closing bank accounts, borrowing less and losing work under Trump.
Loans to aliens have fallen sharply, as hispanic orgs see fewer people come in for financial services. Under Trump, FinCEN and CFPB have initiated phase 1 for debanking illegals by discouraging financial institutions from conducting business with them. Treasury now tells banks to flag such alien activity, listing Construction and Big Ag as high risk.
