Trump is finishing the wall. After 450 miles were built first term, Trump has completed another 180 this term, with 750 more under construction.
“No previous admin has attempted a wall of this scale”, says The Economist. The greatest federal project since the interstate highway. President Trump's border wall includes a primary and secondary layer, and the admin is adding hundreds of miles of waterborne barrier.
New tech and secure roads are being integrated. Altogether some 1,100 solid miles are in progress and 700 is still awarded as of Sept 9.
