Postwing — Email Infrastructure for Developers: post #7 — TG.ME

🧩 Web3 SaaS still needs good email infrastructure

Wallet-based auth can remove passwords, but it doesn't remove the need for email.

Most Web3 SaaS products still rely on email for things like:

• account and security alerts
• team invitations
• billing and payment notifications
• API key changes
• failed jobs or transactions
• product updates
• support communication

The mistake is treating email as an afterthought.

For a Web3 SaaS, your email stack should ideally:

→ support API-based sending
→ expose delivery and bounce events
→ let you control your sending domain
→ make authentication like DKIM/SPF/DMARC straightforward
→ avoid forcing your team into unnecessary payment or billing friction
→ scale with transactional usage instead of requiring large fixed plans

Crypto-native payments can also matter more than they seem. If your company operates primarily in USDC or crypto, paying infrastructure vendors without converting funds or using a corporate card can simplify operations.

That was one of the reasons we built Postwing with USDC payments alongside standard developer email infrastructure.
