Harry Kane is among the biggest names in the race for this year’s Ballon d’Or after a huge 2025-26 season.
The England captain scored 73 goals for club and country, 61 for Bayern Munich and 12 for England, while winning the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal.
But winning the Ballon d’Or has often been about more than just goals. Recent winners have usually had a major trophy to show for their season, which could make Kane’s case an interesting one.
If he gets it, Kane would become only the fifth Englishman to lift the award after Stanley Matthews, Bobby Charlton, Kevin Keegan and Michael Owen.
