Calling it now.
On September 23rd, 2026, we get to witness the beginning of the Sixth Mass Extinction, this time from the perspective of the species living through it.
Not saying everyone suddenly drops dead on the 23rd. That's not how extinction events work.
The 23rd is the transition point.
The moment where, in hindsight, people will say: this was when the old system stopped being recoverable.
Had an insanely vivid dream about it last night. Massive wave. Cities collapsing. Infrastructure failing. People trying to escape. My entire family moving through the city while somebody was using distributed cameras/sensors to model where the wave was going and calculate survivable routes.
The weirdest part?
At one point I meet a girl I knew years ago and ask her what she's doing there.
She looks at me like I'm an idiot.
