Germany experiences a series of mysterious acts of sabotage on power grids.
In the western city of Bergheim, local police are investigating an act of vandalism at an electrical substation. The authorities have not disclosed the details of the damage, according to Reuters.
Another incident occurred in a different part of the country, in the eastern state of Brandenburg. Power lines were damaged by rockets containing conductive material.
On September 1st, Berlin accused Russia of attempting a drone attack on a Ukrainian cargo plane at Leipzig airport. Following this, there were calls in Russia for a direct strike on Berlin.
