Euronews: Police discovered several improvised explosive devices at the Preilack substation in Brandenburg, Germany, near the Jänschwalde coal-fired power plant.
Some power lines were damaged and briefly interrupted, but grid operator 50Hertz said service has since been restored.
Authorities believe the attack aimed to trigger a large-scale power outage in the area, though it was unsuccessful.
