🛑 The Council of Architecture (COA) has issued an important Public Notice regarding the misuse of the professional title “Architect.”
🛑 Under the Architects Act, 1972, only qualified professionals registered with the Council of Architecture are legally entitled to use the title and style of “Architect.”
🛑 This is not just about a title.
🏛️ It is about Qualification
📐 It is about Professional Responsibility
⚖️ It is about Accountability
🤝 And most importantly, protecting the Client
🛑 The COA has called upon unregistered persons to cease and desist from falsely posing or misrepresenting themselves as Architects.
🛑 Before appointing an Architect, verify their COA registration.
