Nifty Snaps Four-Session Losing Streak But Ends Fourth Straight Week In The Red

Broader markets showed divergent trends, with the Nifty Midcap 100 declining 0.25% and the Smallcap 100 advancing 0.22%. Market breadth remained strong, with an advance–decline ratio of 1.30, indicating selective buying across large and small caps.
In the currency market, the rupee edged slightly higher against the dollar, extending its recent strengthening streak. The rupee registered nearly 1% appreciation against the dollar during the week, closing near 94.50.
