Yuri's true nature is difficult to define. The closest comparison would be a black hole, as that is the primary source of its inspiration. It possesses the ability to absorb anything energy, souls, and even physical matter. Its capacity is limitless.there is no upper bound to what it can consume.
Yuri is the only being that was not created by God and has no known creator. No one knows exactly when or how it came into existence. Because of its infinite power of absorption, it is considered even more powerful than God and does not answer to Him.
In the present day, Yuri lives as an angel, though no one except God knows its true identity. At its core, it is a mortal, black hole like entity rather than a true angel.
Yuri has no permanent human form or fixed gender. It can freely transform into anything it desires.
