1. Role Expectations -
The Network Architect role requires professionals who can design end-to-end enterprise networking solutions by integrating multiple technologies and translating business requirements into scalable technical architectures.
The ideal candidate should be capable of:
-Building pre-sales and solution scenarios for enterprise customers.
Stitching together multiple technologies to deliver end-to-end network solutions.
-Providing architecture from implementation as well as operations perspectives.
-Demonstrating strong problem-solving and solution design capabilities.
2. Core Technical Skills -
Candidates should possess strong hands-on expertise across the following areas:
-Routing & Switching
-Wireless Networking
-WAN Technologies
-Network Access Control (NAC)
-SD-WAN
-Network Management & Monitoring Tools
-Cloud Networking
-Network Automation
-Networking virtualization experience
In addition, candidates should have experience integrating connectivity, security, and cloud compute into enterprise network solutions.
3. OEM Experience -
-Hands-on implementation and architecture experience with one or more of the following OEM technologies is preferred:
- Cisco
- Aruba
- Juniper
4. Industry Background-
-Enterprise Networking experience is mandatory.
-Candidates from ISP/Telecom service provider operations should not be considered unless they possess significant enterprise architecture exposure.
5. Experience Requirements-
-Minimum 10 years of overall networking experience.
-Minimum 2-5 years of relevant Network Architect experience involving solution design and enterprise architecture.
