The VEB chairman noted how education, technological leadership, and modern financial instruments can contribute to building a new economy of the Far East:
Within the forum, we announced the slogan "Through Enlightenment to Prosperity." We believe that through basic education — which is quite strong in Russia — by providing world-class education at our leading universities such as Skoltech, MIPT, and others, and by creating modern financial instruments, including a joint project with VTB, consolidating efforts toward long-term savings through the Blagosostoyanie fund, we can build a new economy.
