Netflix has revealed that *The Altruists*, its highly anticipated series on the FTX collapse, will launch on November 19. The show dramatizes the rise and fall of Sam Bankman-Fried and Caroline Ellison—once hailed as crypto idealists, later charged with siphoning $8 billion. FTX imploded in November 2022, with Bankman-Fried arrested just a month later.
Starring Julia Garner as Ellison and Anthony Boyle as Bankman-Fried, the eight-episode series draws inspiration from New York Magazine’s investigative reporting.
