📢 WHAT’S THE LATEST NOUN UPDATE?

Here are some important updates every *National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN)* student should take note of 👇

✅ 1. TMA & Discussion Forums

TMA submission has been open since last week. However, some students are still unable to proceed because their Discussion Forums have not yet been opened

If your forum is still locked, keep checking your eLearn portal regularly. Once the discussion forum becomes available, ensure you complete it so you can proceed with your TMA activities.

Students who have booked their TMA submission with NOUN UPDATE should also keep checking their portals as we continue monitoring the situation and rounding up our submissions with perfect grades.

💳 2. Remita Payment Issues

There have been reports of glitches with Remita payments, which have affected some students trying to make payments and complete registration on the NOUN portal.

We hope the issue will be fully resolved soon. If you are yet to complete your registration, avoid waiting until the final days before trying to make payment.

🎓 3. NOUN Admission Is Still Open

Admission into NOUN is still open for interested applicants.

If you or someone you know is planning to study with NOUN, this is still an opportunity to begin the admission process.

⏰ IMPORTANT ACADEMIC DATES

📌 Registration Deadline — 300–800 Level

There are now approximately 14 days (2 weeks) remaining before registration is expected to close for 300–800 Level students.

⚠️ Please don't wait until the last minute.

Although NOUN may subsequently extend or reopen registration, students should remember that this could attract a Late Registration Fee.

📝 Pen-on-Paper Examination

According to the 2026 NOUN Academic Calendar, the Pen-on-Paper (POP) Examination is expected to commence on:

Please note that academic dates may still be adjusted by the University, so continue following official announcements and NOUN UPDATE for developments.

📌 Registration Deadline - 100 & 200 Level

Registration for 100 and 200 Level students is expected to close on:

📅 29th September 2026

Students who fail to register within the normal registration period may be required to pay a Late Registration Fee.

💻 E-Examination

According to the 2026 Academic Calendar, the E-Examination is expected to commence on:
