My points:
Identities are not rigid designations, they are dynamic. The Levantine splits were along different lines (Qaysi Yamani, Green/Blue, etc.).
Genetics is also misinterpreted. I use it to deny genetic claims.
Localities are the basic units, localism is BOTTOM-UP, and fractal.
Nation-States are recent, 19th C. fragile constructions.
