🗣Last-Minute tips for NIMCET preparation 1. Revise all formulas and shortcuts Daily.(Because if NIMCET is war then this all are your weapons and without weapons no war can be conquered) 2. You can practice at least 20–30 MCQs daily from each topic because solving each and every question from each topic now practically it is not possible. So solve some questions so that you can recall solving techniques and it will help in formula and concept revision as well. 3. Focus on speed + accuracy and don't make any assumptions if you are not sure at all. 4. Don't start new or tough topics now. Just focus and revise topics which you have already covered. 5. Don’t ignore simple calculation errors, revisit your mistake notebook if you have maintained. 6. Don't underestimate the PYQ's, solve them properly and they should be on your fingertips. Sometimes PYQ's are repeated as it is. So prepare them well. 7. Give full length mock test daily with a timer and refine you paper solving techniques. Maintain a mistake log which are happening frequently in mocks and revisit them daily. 8. Analyze performance: focus on mistakes and weak areas 9. Keep revising common mistakes and tricky concepts so that they don't bother in exam atleast. 10. Avoid comparing mock scores with others 11. When the paper starts don't just simply start the solving questions directly it might be dangerous. You should atleast know that which questions should be solved first that are easy and lead to correct answer within time limit that will definitely build your confidence in exam. So what I used to do when I used to solve mock or exam. I used to reserve initial 5 minutes for paper observation(specially for math section) . I used to make 3 boxes on rough sheet and read all math questions in first 5 minutes and put question numbers in the boxes according to their difficulties level. Like whichever questions I found that are might easy I put that question number in Box-1, which are not slightly easy put that question number in Box-2 and questions that are seems to be tough or too much time consuming, put that question number in Box-3. This all has be done in 5 minutes. Basically you have classified all easy medium and tough questions in three categories now you can start solving easy questions. If you will solve more number of questions in less time that will definitely boost your confidence. 12. In mock/exam don't just half read the questions, make a one read properly atleast and also read options as well and then try to solve that question. It will decrease your chance of making mistakes. 13. If stuck on a question for more than 1.5 minutes, move on. we'll see it later if time allowed. Don't waste too much time on single question if you are doing so means you are compromising with other questions which might be solved easily. 14. Trust your preparation. Don’t panic if you can’t solve a few questions. If you have prepared sincerely then definitely you will make it. 15. Avoid peer pressure or last-minute group studies. 16. Most important Eat well, sleep well, and stay hydrated. Note: A calm mind performs better than an over-prepared but anxious one.
