🇳🇱 The Netherlands Gambling Authority (KSA) has announced that it will be taking action against gaming halls and casinos investigated by Dutch broadcaster PowNed that have been shown to have ineffective Cruks monitoring.
A state-owned Holland Casino venue in Eindhoven is one of three venues that are under scrutiny. Cruks is the self-exclusion register used in the Netherlands, but the investigation has demonstrated that fake IDs can be enough to bypass safeguards at certain venues.
Minor political parties JA21 and BBB will now reportedly submit parliamentary questions on the matter and the KSA has emphasised: “It should not have happened that someone registered in Cruks enters an arcade using another person’s identification. Arcades and casinos are required to carry out thorough checks, and the KSA monitors this.”
