Nonce is a value in the Bitcoin block header that miners change to generate new hashes while searching for one that meets the network’s target.
Each change to the nonce creates a new version of the block header and consequently a new hash. Mining machines perform billions of hash attempts every second until they find a valid one.
⚙️ When a valid hash is found, the block meets the network’s Proof of Work requirements and can be added to the Bitcoin blockchain.
One small value.
Billions of hash attempts.
One successful block.
