Ebola and Hantavirus are NOT the same thing.
Hantavirus is associated with rodents and is mainly linked to exposure to contaminated rodent materials.
Ebola spreads through direct contact with the blood or other body fluids of an infected person or someone who has died from the disease.
NCDC continues to monitor both situations separately.
