The NBA has issued its ruling against the Los Angeles Clippers following a year-long investigation into alleged salary cap circumvention involving Kawhi Leonard.
The franchise has been stripped of five first-round draft picks, while owner Steve Ballmer has been fined $30 million. Ballmer, Lawrence Frank, and Gillian Zucker have also received suspensions.
Kawhi Leonard will be required to pay $700,000 in restitution for improper benefits allegedly provided by the Clippers to his uncle and former business representative, Dennis Robertson.
Leonard will not be suspended, and none of his contracts will be voided.
Meanwhile, Robertson - who was fired by Leonard in June - has been banned by the NBA from all business activities.
