Wishing you all the absolute best of luck in this week's exam. I wanted to share 10 quick tips that I hope you find helpful:

### 1. Master Your Nerves
Control your stress and excitement as much as possible—both in cases you know inside out and those you find challenging. Trust me, the exam is highly manageable and well below your actual level of knowledge. Just stay precise, relaxed, friendly, and professional!

### 2. Communication is More Than Grammar
Your communication score doesn't rely heavily on perfect grammar. It’s built on showing genuine care for the patient, active listening, positive energy, body language, eye contact, and the right approach. Focus fully on the core of the question and manage both the situation and your time wisely.

### 3. Push Hard Until the Very Last Station
Never let your energy drop. Stay strong right until the final station—that very last one could be the one that secures your pass! Remind yourself that everyone is in the same boat, but you are exceptionally well-prepared 😊 Keep pushing forward with high energy, regardless of how you feel the previous stations went.

### 4. Handling the Unexpected
You might encounter 1 or 2 stations with unusual questions where you have absolutely no clue (it’s a possibility, not a certainty). Do not take unnecessary risks or guess answers you aren't sure about. The case is often specifically designed to test your reaction to uncertainty. Even if you can't provide the clinical answer, salvage your communication score by using your verbal skills with a simple, professional phrase like:
"I’m sorry, I’m not able to provide your exact answer at this moment. If you don’t mind, I need to consult additional references and get back to you shortly."

### 5. Prioritize Patient Benefit Within Bounds
Always act in the best interest of the patient, but never do anything illegal or outside your scope of practice. Do not bring provincial scope variations into the exam unless explicitly permitted. Clearly explain to the patient *why* you are or aren't taking a certain action.

### 6. Watch the Clock
Manage your time actively and don't let it slip away. Budget it carefully right from the start. The key to winning the station is being able to address all the necessary points during your counseling.

### 7. Nail the Simple Questions
Do not lose easy points. Answer simple questions as thoroughly and in as much detail as possible. Missing a difficult question won't ruin your percentile, but nailing the simple ones is an absolute prerequisite for passing. A prime example of this is the non-interactive stations. They are incredibly important!

### 8. Manage the Actor, Don't Let Them Manage You
Treat the actor as a real patient and use your professional experience to control the room. Don't let their demeanor fluster you—whether they are angry, sad, or in a rush. Acknowledge and address their emotion, then calmly proceed with your task.

### 9. Speak with Confidence and Authority
If you deliver the correct answer hesitantly, it won't be accepted and you'll come across as unsure. Gather your thoughts, check your references, make a precise decision, and deliver your answer firmly and clearly—just once, without repeating yourself 2 or 3 times.

### 10. Show the Assessor You Belong
Show the assessor with absolute confidence that you are completely ready for your license. You are highly capable, but they don't know that yet. It is your job out there to showcase your skills to them.
