🔴Swiss Bitcoin financial services provider Pocket Bitcoin said an August security incident exposed data belonging to 5,120 customers, including names, addresses, bank transfer amounts and dates, and in some cases IBANs. A further 291 customers had more sensitive information exposed, potentially including identity documents, source-of-funds records, Bitcoin addresses and residential addresses.

Pocket Bitcoin said its customer and transaction databases were not compromised, with the exposed data originating from bank correspondence and transaction lists stored in the affected support system. Bitcoin and private keys were not affected, and there is currently no indication that the leaked data has been misused.
