MAPLES 🍁
MoonHead
Words :Arsam
The palindromes
decipher like flakes of snow
their silent prowess
so we’d be withdrawn
from world once more
Seasons change fast
but I feel slow to do so
maples in the forest half undressed
so their welded rainbow glow
like cogs they walk on
my clockwork fairies
at times stuck in traffic
light on shattered screens
wish I’d be flying above this ruin of a city
empty homes trampled by the world's affairs
entangled by stubborn ivy creepers,
breaking free
that I can’t do without too easily
like cogs they walk on
my clockwork fairies
