ROSAVIA is aware that after reports of Ukraine's requests to close Russian airspace, it has not received any notifications from ICAO and has had no contact with them.
ROSAVIA has not received any requests to suspend flights from foreign airlines in Russia, and air traffic has not ceased with any of the 37 countries.
ROSAVIA will work with the Russian Foreign Ministry on issues of cooperation with ICAO regarding civilian flights.
ICAO does not have the authority to close airspace over Russia; they can only make recommendations.
