Actually, at this age, love should be the least of our worries.
We're not teenagers anymore, staying up all night waiting for a text or trying to prove we're worth someone's time. We're adults now, trying to make ends meet, heal from the things we never talked about, and build a version of ourselves we can finally be proud of. We have bills to pay, dreams to chase, and goals that demand our full attention. We're learning to be our own safe place, to find peace in solitude, and to understand that love isn't supposed to drain us or make us question our worth.
Love is beautiful, but it shouldn't be the reason we lose sleep. Not when we're still figuring out how to love ourselves right. Because the truth is, the right love won't compete with your growth; it will complement it. It won't distract you from your goals; it will inspire you to reach them. So if love feels like chaos right now, maybe it's not what you need. Maybe, at this point in life, the best thing we can do is choose ourselves, our peace, our healing, and the quiet kind of happiness that doesn't depend on anyone else
