Q. Can you please tell us the issuer of currency in the chronological manner?

Answer-

Initially, Government of India (Currency Department) under the paper currency act of 1861

Then, in 1913, the Office of Controller of Currency was established replacing the Currency Department in the Government.
👇
Later, since 1935, the RBI is the sole authority of issuing currency notes as per section 22 of RBI Act, 1934
