Sup people, I really want to know something that people say your age will teach you. There’s this term called “teenage love” where if her lover doesn’t reply to her message she cries wants to kill herself blah blah blah. And when people in their twenties hear stories like this they act like they’ve never been through that phase. They’re like “Time will teach you, child. Kiddo 😏.”
But whatever. I can’t lie I sometimes feel like I need a lover too but then I just ignore that thought. And if I have a boyfriend in my twenties what if I still act like a teenager? Does age really matter that much?
Like how can a teenage girl make her mind think like someone in their twenties or thirties? I don’t know. Is it age that matters or is it exposure to the real world and experiencing all the highs and lows of life that actually teaches you?
I feel like there are people who are older but still act like teenagers and there are teenagers who act more mature than some adults. So my point is… is maturity really about age or is it more about experience and how you learn from life?
