Ā’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said:
“I was never as jealous of any woman as I was of Khadījah, even though I never met her. This was because I constantly heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mention her, praise her virtues, and speak highly of her. His love for her was immense, and much goodness had come to him through her. Indeed, among the things most beloved to a person are those connected to the one he loves.
That is why the Prophet ﷺ said concerning Khadījah: ‘I was blessed with her love.’ He would even send gifts to the friends of Khadījah after her passing, as a sign of his noble character and his loyalty.
Whenever he saw Hālah bint Khuwaylid, Khadījah’s sister, he would become joyful because her voice and manner reminded him of Khadījah.
