Hurricane Isaias is causing big problems for oil production in the Gulf of Mexico, USA. Because of the storm, oil companies have stopped producing about 1.3 million barrels of oil each day. This is a lot, about 63% of all the oil made in the Gulf. The storm is also a threat to refineries, which are places where oil is turned into gasoline and other products.
